Terms of use and refund policy

Last updated 29 October 2026

Continental Order is run by Patrick Fox (ABN 15 482 877 639) ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you play the game at this website, sign in, or buy coins. By playing you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

Your consumer rights come first. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. If anything here seems to say otherwise, the law wins.

1. Playing the game

The game is free to play. You can play as a guest without giving us any personal details, or sign in with email or Google to keep your progress across devices.

Please don't cheat, exploit bugs on purpose, interfere with the servers, or try to get into other players' accounts. In online games, choose a name that isn't offensive, hateful or impersonating someone. Other players can report names, and we may remove names, reset ratings, or suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these rules. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to a ban without warning. If you think we've banned you by mistake, email support@continentalorder.com within 30 days and we'll review it.

2. Your account

If you play as a guest, your coins and designs are tied to a recovery code stored on your device (Shop → Coins → Recovery code). Keep a copy: anyone with the code can use your guest coins, and if you lose both your device and the code we may not be able to restore them. Signed-in players just sign in again on a new device.

You can delete a signed-in account at any time from inside the game. This permanently removes your progress, coins and designs. Unused coins are not refunded when you delete your account.

3. Coins and designs

4. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure checkout page. We never see or store your card details. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission before buying anything.

5. Refund policy

When you're entitled to a refund

Under the Australian Consumer Law, digital purchases come with guarantees. If coins you paid for don't arrive, you were charged the wrong amount, or something you bought doesn't work as described and we can't fix it, you're entitled to a refund or a fix. Email support@continentalorder.com with your Stripe receipt (or the email address you paid with) and we'll sort it out.

Changed your mind?

We don't give refunds just because you've changed your mind, except where the law requires it.

What happens to coins when a payment is refunded or reversed

Chargebacks

If something's wrong with a purchase, please contact us at support@continentalorder.com before disputing the payment with your bank. We'll usually sort it out faster. If a chargeback is made without contacting us first, or a refund or chargeback is fraudulent (for example, disputing a purchase you made and kept using), we may ban the account and remove all coins and designs on it, whether bought or earned. This doesn't apply if someone used your card without your permission and you tell us promptly.

Bans

If your account is banned for breaking these terms, you won't get a refund for coins or designs on it, except where the law requires one.

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

6. Online play

Online games depend on internet connections and servers we don't fully control. We try to keep everything running, but we can't promise the game will always be available, error-free or free of lag, and we may change, pause or end features, including online play.

7. Our content

The game, its code, art, name and designs belong to Patrick Fox. You can play and share links to the game, but you can't copy, modify, resell or republish it, or use its code or art elsewhere, without our written permission.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, and apart from your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the game. Where our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it's limited to resupplying the service or refunding what you paid for it.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the game changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to play after a change means you accept it. Big changes affecting purchases won't apply to coins you've already bought.

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Questions or complaints: support@continentalorder.com.
